Our Brown Bear Mount Kenya is the epitome of fruity zesty coffees. Grown at 2000 metres above sea level, in the shadow of the foothills of Mount Kenya with its rich volcanic soil, terroir and varietals, this is classic Kenyan coffee at its finest. As one of our favourite coffees in the world, expect bright, citric acidity, stone fruit sweetness and a clean cup finish.
Real Colombia
Our Brown Bear® Real Colombia is one of our single-origin coffees which uses 100% Arabica coffee beans. This coffee offers up some complex notes of toffee apple and marzipan. The body is rich with Roasted Hazelnut and a clean caramel finish. You can expect a medium body with great acidity. Colombia is famous for its coffee.
Sweet Brazil
Our Brown Bear® Sweet Brazil coffee takes a lot of inspiration from Brazil with its distinctly Brazilian notes popping up everywhere. A malty smooth body with a strong notably sweet finish. Expect great levels of chocolate and caramel in our 100% Arabica coffee. It’s a winner for many and one of our hidden gems.

Freshly ground coffee Our fresh, pre-ground coffee is a simple, convenient option if you don’t have a home grinder. The coffee grind coarseness (our Omni grind) is perfect for cafetiéres (French press), and drip filters and can also be used in the Aeropress, Moka pots and coffee percolators. We’d always recommend whole beans for absolute freshness but if you do opt for pre-ground, it’s always best to keep them in an airtight container, away from light and use them as quickly as possible.

This coffee is amazing. I really needed good coffee to help me through the busy life with an 8 month old baby. This has given me a new lease of life and in my favourite mug 😉 currently drinking Mount Kenya but so excited to try Sweet Brazil and Real Columbia too 😊
Pretty disappointed by some of the coffee I received, up to 6 months from use by, which I understand to mean 6 months after roasting. Very poor, wheaty flavour. I think it's a bit misleading to be using the words fresh on the website.

I particularily like "Blue mountain" A coffee I used to get in a favourite Cafe of mine in the 70's.

Columbia is not drinkable ,seems like overroasted ,every cup has a burnt taste regardless of adjusting grind. Went in the rubbisch
Nice to have choice of coffees to try and great to help the bears even though we already support the bears in Greece through Actouros who help to rescue them and if course Four Paws, so please keep up the great coffee for a good cause!
I think first of all, they are not really freshly roasted after you order them, I can’t brew a good shot with good taste when everything was done right. I was on Colombia and now moving on to Kenya, let’s see if I can brew a shot with better taste
Excellent coffee and excellent customer service: I ordered a couple of coffee bundles last year and one of the coffees included was not the one indicated in the photo, so they sent me the correct one and let me keep the other one (which was a Decaf one I wasn't interested in) free of charge. As it happens I grew to rather like their decaf one and have subsequently ordered it with my other favourite Brown Bear coffees! Great job everyone. Hoping for some more delicious blends to add to the collection.
Really enjoying my Brown Bear coffee selection - they smell wonderful, and each one in the selection has a smooth, distinctive taste. Really pleased with the product, and will probably subscribe as it's great to have delicious coffee and support the sun bears too!
