Cafetière & Filter
Our fresh, pre-ground coffee is a simple, convenient option if you don’t have a home grinder. The coffee grind coarseness (our Omni grind) is perfect for cafetières (French press), and drip filters and can also be used in the Aeropress, Moka pots and coffee percolators. We’d always recommend whole beans for absolute freshness but if you do opt for pre-ground, it’s always best to keep them in an airtight container, away from light and use them as quickly as possible.

A nice, rich brew without bitterness. To my taste not as well rounded as some of the other varieties, but works well as an Americano style coffee. An almost-but-not-quite wood plus chocolate aroma when you open the bag!
It was my first order and I have a mixed feelings. On bag opening dark almost burned smell hits you, little bit too dark for medium roast in my opinion, also flavor-wise - dark notes are overwhelming, not extremally bitter, no acidity and long burnt aftertaste.
Cub espresso was introduced to me by a colleague who had only good things to say about it. I gave it a try along with another brown bear blend. It's certainly a great espresso. I get the beans and grind in my bean to cup machine and it normally produces a great crema and tastes superb. Not as darkly roasted as some espresso blends which I personally like.
Using an aeropress with 2 scoops and topped up with hot water this makes a perfect coffee. I drink it black and the flavour just keeps getting better as the coffee cools down. Some of the other coffees have more fruity flavours but with they aren't as strong and robust a coffee.
One of the few coffees that I've enjoyed time and time again. My husband recently got a fancy espresso machine and these are what we use most of the time, although we do alternative with Mambo and Original blend sometimes. Recommended!
I thought I'd give this a try as I love my morning espressos! This is so nice, lovely flavour and a hit of dark roast, I have really fallen in love with it! Will be ordering more very soon Mr Bear!
