Cafetière & Filter
Our fresh, pre-ground coffee is a simple, convenient option if you don’t have a home grinder. The coffee grind coarseness (our Omni grind) is perfect for cafetières (French press), and drip filters and can also be used in the Aeropress, Moka pots and coffee percolators. We’d always recommend whole beans for absolute freshness but if you do opt for pre-ground, it’s always best to keep them in an airtight container, away from light and use them as quickly as possible.

If only you could smell these coffee beans! That's what hits you when you open the bag. The beans are gorgeous, glossy and dark. It actually tastes like it smells too. Highly recommend if you like a strong dark roast coffee that really delivers on taste.

I've been drinking Brown Bear Coffee for a number of years now,this is the first time I've ordered direct from Brown Bear. Delivery was quick, and well packaged. My favourite is Mambo Italiano, it's a good all rounder.Great depth of flavour, smells fabulous.Ive also ordered Black Mamba with this delivery,again another great tasting coffee, Theirs no waste with the grounded coffee beans,when I've emptied the pot,i mix them up in the soil in my garden.
Our absolute favourite coffee! I think we're on our 4th 1kg bag! We've tried loads of big brand beans and different roasts but Brown Bear is the best by far. A permanent go to in our house ☕️
Leaving a slightly different review - I wanted to share with you a recycling idea.
I use the 1kg bags as planters for my winter bulbs and cuttings.
They are robust, easy to store and stack when planted and I can write on them for labelling the bulbs.
Oh and the coffee is great too!
Mambo Italiano Espresso Coffee are great beams if you like a stronger coffee (we use it to make up an Americano). Deliveries always come as scheduled and subscription is useful so we never run out, plus you can use discount codes with it as well.
Best coffee beans we have ever had. Took us a while to get the balance right and now we have. Lovely velvety crema and well rounded flavour. Will never buy any other coffee.
I discovered Brown bear coffee on Amazon but decided to order direct from Brown bear themselves. I normally use a French press but recently bought a new coffee machine which uses a ‘pour over’ technique and this coffee is perfect. Wonderful taste and aroma, we like strong coffee and this does the job. Also with every purchase you are helping to save the poor helpless bears so what’s not to love. It’s part the reason I will only use Brown bear from here on.
Loved their coffee for some time now and decided to subscribe to ensure the flow! First subscription pack arrived damaged, but was quickly replaced. We make a strong filter coffee every morning, grinding the beans fresh. If you like a dark strong coffee I highly recommend the Mambo Italiano - fabulous!

Despite living in Northern Ireland where deliveries can be slow and unreliable, Brown Bear have always delivered as promised.
Easy to use compared to some other methods for using ground coffee when away from home. Tastes good too. I like strong coffee without any milk and this passed that taste test. Just need to remember a teaspoon but on this first test I left the bag in and that did work ok in a mug
