Coffee Beans
Brown Bear’s freshly roasted coffee beans are packed and heat-sealed into our coffee bags to keep the beany goodness and flavour inside. Ensure you have a quality grinder to get the most out of our coffee.
Check out our coffee guide under About Us for some great how to guides.
Cafetière & Filter
Our fresh, pre-ground coffee is a simple, convenient option if you don’t have a home grinder. The coffee grind coarseness (our Omni grind) is perfect for cafetières (French press), and drip filters and can also be used in the Aeropress, Moka pots and coffee percolators. We’d always recommend whole beans for absolute freshness but if you do opt for pre-ground, it’s always best to keep them in an airtight container, away from light and use them as quickly as possible.

Enjoying the coffee.
Would appreciate a resealable bag as most of your competitors. There are only two of us and takes a while to get through a 1kg bag.
Store owner replied:
Hi David,
Thank you for your review, we're glad that you are enjoying Brown Bear coffee :). Our 227g packs are resealable whereas the 1kg packs are more geared for commercial use and heavy-use consumers. In saying that, the 1kg packs are purchased more often than the 227g packs so future pack designs could better reflect this. We will take a look at our PE recyclable options. All the best!
This is my favourite coffee bean.
I've probably tried 20 different independent sellers.
I like the subtle caramel tones and the fact there isn't a kick in the back of your throat.
All in all I get the 1kg when needed.
Very good value for money.
I love Colombian coffee. It is delicious. I always buy my coffee from Brown because is not only such a reliable company that sell excellent quality coffee, but also is a company with morals and values that contributes to save the threaten Asian bears.
I do enjoy your Colombia coffee beans but I buy them from Amazon because of the 'free' Amazon prime postage - I have no idea what you lose via Amazon but I would rather buy direct if there's more in it for you - I get through a kilo about every 3 weeks - Is there a saving for me by setting up a subscription ?
Regards, Terry Davies
For those that love the flavours of chocolate and caramel you're in for a real treat, a dressing gown, pyjamas and slippers treat. Columbia whole bean is so rich and enjoyable.
