Coffee Beans
Brown Bear’s freshly roasted coffee beans are packed and heat-sealed into our coffee bags to keep the beany goodness and flavour inside. Ensure you have a quality grinder to get the most out of our coffee.
Check out our coffee guide under About Us for some great how to guides.
Cafetière & Filter
Our fresh, pre-ground coffee is a simple, convenient option if you don’t have a home grinder. The coffee grind coarseness (our Omni grind) is perfect for cafetières (French press), and drip filters and can also be used in the Aeropress, Moka pots and coffee percolators. We’d always recommend whole beans for absolute freshness but if you do opt for pre-ground, it’s always best to keep them in an airtight container, away from light and use them as quickly as possible.
Guatemala Antigua Coffee - Medium Roast - Strength 3
Having done a sampler box to try the different coffees on offer, I’ve now settled on the Guatemala Antigua. It’s a great price from Brown Bear and the subscription couldn’t be easier! It’s perfect for my bean-to-cup set up!
A lovely medium roast and my go-to coffee! I started my coffee-drinking in Guatemala and this takes me right back to my trips around the cobbled streets, volcanoes, and vibrancy of Antigua. Also, to get that (almost) authentic taste from the Guatemalan highlands, add sugar, cinnamon and a little lemongrass after brewing. :-)
Delicious, is how I would describe Brown Bear’s Guatemala Antigua Coffee - Medium Roast - Strength 3.
I use a bean to cup machine, which makes an excellent cup of cappuccino, and a double glass coffee cup, in the picture, which looks good and keeps the coffee hot, while I munch my toast.
Brown Bear is a reliable company, reasonable prices, and easy ordering. What more could I want?
My favourite coffee by far. It works so well in my coffee machine which has a burr grinder fitted.you get all of that lovely flavor and NO bitterness and it is great value for money!
A lovely high acidity to it but still a smooth flavour and a nice crema, I wouldn't recommend making a mocha with it as it's too light a flavour but this is great as a latte or a great flat white .
Such a tasty coffee! (Although all the coffees are!) this is my favourite with the chocolate/caramel notes in and is a lovely smooth coffee! Perfect! 😍🐻
Excellent coffee with a fantastic taste of chocolate, nuts and caramel..absolutely love it and can highly recommend the company for such fabulous service…and I’ve helped to save the brown bears 🐻 ❤️
I first tasted Guatemala coffee in Antigua’ when I went there six years ago. Yours is the only brand that comes up to the same standard. Call me a coffee snob but I won’t drink anything else now!🐻🐻🐻
I got recommended brown bear by my parents who absolutely love the mount Kenya coffee and got me some to try. After looking through all the types I finally settled on the Guatemala Antigua, and it is by far my favourite.
Wonderful brand and an amazing cause fast processing and delivery. I would highly recommend brown bear to anyone.
